BIRTH DOULA SERVICES
My top priority is encouraging a safe and healthy pregnancy through African and African-American ancient wisdom and herbalism with respect to Western medicine (when & if needed). Together we will create a safe and sound environment to prepare for your birth with the support of ancient and relevant information, exercises to aid with your growing and evolving body, herbal and nutritional support, and womb and spiritual care and cleansing. It is important to take into regard not just physical wellness, but the mental, emotional and spiritual wellness necessary to feel confident, safe and secure in your body as does its magical thing, quite literally.
I do not deliver, I am here to encourage and support a happy and healthy birth.
As a birth doula, I offer several packages that include the following: prenatal meetings (meetings run approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours), labor support following 2 hours after giving birth, and 1 or 2 postpartum meetings. Prenatal massages are also an option to include in our prenatal meetings. We can meet either at your residence or my office, which is located in Little Five Points, Atlanta, Georgia.

What's included in our prenatal meetings...
- We will discuss your birth history, goals, plans, and the history of birthing in your family as well. We will have a thorough check-in regarding your emotional, physical and spiritual wellness while pregnant, and prior to pregnancy as well
- A detailed and well-rounded approach to your 'birth plan, hopes and dreams'. A thorough discussion of how you want your labor experience to go; your thoughts and feelings about certain medications, procedures, vaccines, and medical support will be recorded in a packet for your keeping that we can report back to and make adjustments at any time
- The discussion and encouragement of your Birth Rights
- Tools to support your means of self-advocacy during pregnancy, labor and throughout life!
- Demonstrations for you and your partner of massage techniques, positions, and exercises beneficial when providing physical support for the prenatal to labor stage
- Spiritual support, prompts and activities to encourage healing thyself, thy womb and thy spirit before baby's arrival to positively alchemize any past traumas or wounds
- Bath rituals
- an herbal support guide for prenatal, labor and postpartum needs
- meal preparation and a nutritional support guide
- phone, text and email support throughout pregnancy
- referrals readily available to local midwives, pediatric doctors, chiropractors, etc
- the option for prenatal massages (available for mobile sessions or in-studio)
- the option to add on a natal chart reading for the mama and newborn, and any family members interested to dive into the Astro blueprint of each other’s communication style
